The second round of our Star Trek Crew Battle Bracket Tournament is on! It’s no surprise that all five TV captains remain in the hunt, but Janeway faces Deep Space Nine fan-favorite Kira Nerys in this round, so things could get a little dicey there. Not all the doctors were able to heal themselves through to Round 2, as Nurse Chapel managed to show up Beverly‘s single-season replacement, and Trip Tucker bashed Dr. Bashir out of contention. Fortunately, The Doctor was able to pull out a last minute victory over Enterprise‘s Commander Shran with a late surge in their close-fought duel. Not bad, if he does say so himself (and he does).
Can “Number One” remain #1 against Spock in the battle of the first officers? Can Wesley check Chekov off his list, or will Pavel crush Crusher? Can Deanna Troi avoid being assimilated, or will Seven of Nine prove once again that when it comes to her, resistance really is futile?
