About your role:

You'll join a team that is responsible for Discussions and Wiki products. Discussions is a conversation feature that connects communities together. Wiki is our core platform for people to share their passions with other fans. Both used by millions of Fandom users across the globe.

As a Full Stack Engineer you will be developing new features as well as updating existing ones. You will be working in a small, agile team of passionate developers, with many opportunities to propose new solutions, ideas and approaches.

We're looking for a team player who loves to collaborate with others and is excited about solving business challenges with technical means.

You are...

  • An experienced JavaScript Developer happy to use modern frameworks (we use Ember, but if you know others, e.g AngularJS, React that's great!)
  • Not afraid to learn about backend solutions (mainly Java)
  • Experienced in developing large scale, highly-trafficked, dynamic websites and web performance optimization
  • Passionate for delivering well-structured, tested, maintainable and useful software
  • Able to work with distributed teams in different time zones (mainly with San Francisco)
  • Proficient in English

Bonus points if you... 

  • Have experience with other programming languages
  • Contribute to open source projects
  • Speak at conferences
