Creative Operations Coordinator

About your role:

As a Creative Operations Coordinator for FANDOM x (our in-house custom content incubator), you will play a critical role in our creative post-sale operations by working to effectively streamline the daily workflow of sponsored, custom, and branded content at FANDOM. You must demonstrate excellent skills in written and verbal communication, organization, project management, and critical thinking, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and demanding deadlines.

The FANDOM x team specializes in creating experimental, cutting edge, and exploratory content in partnership with brands, that resonates with fans of all kinds.

We are building out our Creative Operations team, and your role will be crucial in enabling our small-but-mighty group of producers, designers, coordinators, and project managers to produce exciting content each year. 

Primary Responsibilities

Coordinate and streamline daily creative production by: 

  • Communicating directly with strategy (pre-sale) teams to review incoming requests, efficiently organize task assets, and determine priority and production deadlines 
  • Managing master production calendars on multiple projects, and act as main point of operations contact for assigned projects. 
  • Identify and assign in-house producers and designers based on project scope 
  • Managing team workflow and facilitate production communication as needed 
  • Establish regular updates with content and sales teams to review progress and highlight key issues. 
  • Coordinate 3rd party approvals 
  • Effectively identify, understand, and communicate key concepts critical to the project management process. 
  • Provide analysis and research to develop appropriate solutions to recurring issues.

You are…

  • Possessing a BA/BS or relevant work experience 
  • Experienced with 1+ years in creative operations, ideally in broadcast or digital advertising 
  • Experienced with key software: Asana, Confluence, JIRA and Google Drive 
  • Familiar with Photoshop, file types, fonts, and resolution
