Xbox One S Confirmed, Launches in August at $299

This one is no surprise, considering the deluge of leaks over the past month: A new, slimmer Xbox One is launching this August at $299. Unveiled during Microsoft’s E3 2016 press conference, the redesigned console includes a 500GB hard drive (upgradeable to 2TB), output to 4K resolution, a redesigned controller, and an IR blaster that will allow users to control their TVs using gestures without Microsoft’s Kinect peripheral.
