What is ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’?

The cinematic universe for The X-Men has been around for sixteen years already. Sixteen! X-Men: Apocalypse (my video review above) is the latest in the series and the largest thus far. Coming on the heels of X-Men: Days of Future Past, Bryan Singer’s new movie focuses on arguably the most notorious villain in the saga, and they got one of the best young actors in the world to play him.
