Lex Luthor isn’t a real dude. Let’s get that out of the way. He’s a character portrayed by Jesse Eisenberg in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. For those who don’t want to wait until the film’s release to get a feel for how Lex is going to talk and what his paradigm is, Wired just ran a clever “interview” with him as part of the viral campaign for the movie. Here’s a snippet from the article:
“You don’t solve a multiplication problem with division. Unite, or die. The public and the private sectors have to work together to create the next generation of defense technologies necessary to literally save the world. You can begin to see how he feels about the title characters from that statement. It certainly meshes with the playful yet vicious tone he showcases in the trailer:
It’s fun to see how studios play with their approach to marketing their films. It doesn’t feel as much like selling as it does sharing when they involve their audience a little.
The film opens March 25th, 2016.
