Every year, Universal Studios puts on their Halloween Horror Nights event, an IRL celebration of things that go bump in the night. Running for 36 nights between September and November, the 28th instalment of this legitimately scary attraction is better than ever. There are 10 new houses, five scare zones and one brand new show, all expertly crafted to send adrenaline coursing through your veins.
A team of Universal staff work solely on the Horror Nights project all year round, making sure all the details around the park are just right, toying with visitors’ minds to make each house as scary as possible. Whether that be tilting the floor ever-so-slightly to make guests feel off balance, or borrowing techniques from magicians to hide a scare actor until the perfect moment, the craftsmanship and dedication that goes into making each set piece is quite astounding.

How to Experience
