The X-Force will finally be making their big screen debut in Deadpool 2. The elite fighting team of mutants got revealed in the latest trailer for Deadpool 2 and we wanted to dive a little deeper into each of these new characters. Let’s run down the list of X-Force members and see exactly what they are going to bring to this highly anticipated sequel.

Domino

Domino is the most prominent member of the X-Force in Deadpool 2. Her powers are pretty crazy as she can affect probability fields around her. That means she can react to things faster than an average person, and it also allows her to take special advantage of whatever dangerous situation she might be in. She’s definitely going to be a major player in Deadpool 2 and will probably put the Merc with a Mouth in his place more than once.

Bedlam

Bedlam is a little more low-key in the comics when you compare him to actor Terry Crews. His powers revolve around his ability to create an electromagnetic field. This allows him to disrupt and disable electrical fields, including the natural fields that exist in other people. That includes the brain’s neural chemistry. Exactly how that will be utilized in Deadpool 2 remains to be seen, but you know we’re all here for some Terry Crews goodness.

Shatterstar

Deadpool creators Fabien Nicieza and Rob Liefeld are going to see another of their creations make it into a movie thanks to the inclusion of Shatterstar in Deadpool 2. In the comics, Shatterstar is a slave from Mojoworld, a planet that exists solely to provide vicious entertainment to the rest of the galaxy. Once Shatterstar comes to Earth, he joins the X-force. His powers include superhuman physical abilities like strength and reflexes, but he also can create vibratory shockwaves and teleportation portals by using his trademark swords.

Zeitgeist

That’s right, Pennywise himself will appear in Deadpool 2. Bill Skarsgård will be portraying Zeitgeist, a mutant who might have the greatest superpower we’ll ever see on-screen. Zeitgeist’s mutant ability is the power to shoot out acidic vomit. Yes, you heard that correctly. We’re going to see super vomit in a blockbuster film. Considering Deadpool’s love of ridiculousness, it makes total sense that Wade Wilson would hire a member of his team that has super vomit. There is no way that Zeitgeist and his acid vomit aren’t going to be one of the highlights of Deadpool 2.

Surge

There are a bunch of electricity-based superheroes and mutants out there, but one we haven’t seen in a film yet is Surge. She’s a student at the Xavier Institute, so it’s possible she’s friends with Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Her abilities allow her to absorb electricity and then redirect it into hyper-charged bursts or even to increase her own speed. It’s always awesome to see younger mutants in the fray, and hopefully, Surge will make the same kind of impact that Negasonic Teenage Warhead in the first Deadpool.

Peter

We don’t know for sure who Rob Delaney is playing other than a guy called Peter. Some fans speculated he might be Peter Wisdom — a British character whose powers are centered around his ability to throw energized knives from his fingers — but it’s looking like he’s just some regular guy. Honestly, that’s a pretty great gag. There is plenty of humor to be mined from an everyman palling around with flamboyant superheroes. More importantly, it means we get lots of Rob Delaney silliness. That’s a win-win.
