The first teaser trailer for Disney’s Moana has just released, and get ready to meet your new favorite princess:

The film centers on the headstrong South Pacific princess, Moana Waialiki (voiced by newcomer Auli’i Cravalho), who sets out on a sea-faring adventure to save her people and discover who she is along the way. She’s joined by her adorable pet pig Pua and a tattooed, shape-shifting demi-god Maui (Dwayne Johnson) whose lustrous locks are worthy of a shampoo commercial. The music is written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who just won a Tony Award for best original score for a little musical production you might have heard of, Hamilton, which also took home 10 other Tonys this year.

In the teaser trailer, we get a glimpse of the towering demi-god trying to wow Moana with tales of his great heroics and his magical fish hook wielding skills. Like any typical teenager, she is not impressed. But we certainly are —  with action above and beneath the sea, gorgeous animation, and Maui channeling The Rock’s signature eyebrow raise, we’re ready to set sail for the South Pacific.

Moana hits theatres this Thanksgiving, Nov. 23.
