Sony has secured yet another timed exclusivity deal with Watch Dogs 2. During their E3 2016 press conference, Ubisoft announced a unique partnership with Sony with two major components.

First, Following the game’s Nov. 15 release, PS4 owners will have exclusive access to post-launch downloadable content for thirty days. While it’s a shame that Ubisoft is defaulting to putting content behind a paywall, it’s something of a consolation for PS4 owners that they will have access that sweet DLC first. Xbox owners: If you’re looking for a silver lining, at least you’ll know ahead of time whether or not any of the additional content is worth the time or money.

Ubisoft also announced that their filmmaking arm –Ubisoft Motion Pictures – has partnered with Sony Pictures Entertainment and New Regency to develop a feature film based in the Watch Dogs universe. Hopefully this duo will fare better than the partnership between Ubisoft and Disney that spurned the mediocre-at-best Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time movie.
