Ubisoft Reveals ‘For Honor’ Story Campaign and Release Date

Ever wonder what to buy on Valentine’s Day for your favorite gamer? Well, Ubisoft has you covered for 2017.   During their press conference at E3 2016, they revealed that For Honor, their upcoming hack-and-slash action game, will be released on Feb. 14, 2017.

In addition to the multiplayer mode previously shown, Ubisoft revealed several minutes of the new story-driven campaign mode. The trailer featured a Viking leader along with his blood-thirsty warriors, arriving on the shores of a samurai fortress and killing everything in their path. Players will take part in crucial moment of the war between the three factions (Vikings, samurai, and knights) and will need to use their wits and skill to foil the plans of Apollyon, the merciless leader of the Blackstone Legions.

The campaign missions can be completed in solo mode as well as two-player co-op, online and split-screen.  Players and fans can sign up now for a chance to take part in the upcoming Alpha testing phase. Deluxe and Gold Editions were announced (availability limited to some areas) and fans who pre-order will receive an exclusive Legacy Battle Pack that includes three armor designs, inspired by “ancient tales of the warriors” that can be worn by the Warden, Raider and Kensei Heroes. For Honor will be available for XBox One, PS4 and PC.
