The 58th annual Grammy Awards are finally upon us. Some of our favorite artists, including D’Angelo, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Kendrick Lamar, were nominated for best record or best song of the year. While you excitedly wait for your top picks to win, make our appetizer, dessert, and cocktail recipes inspired by some of the hottest artists and hit songs of the year.

Bruno Mars, Uptown Funk:
Hawaiian Coconut Shrimp

Bruno Mars has hit (or, should we say, sung) it out of the park this year. His music video, “Uptown Funk”, is the fourth most viewed YouTube video of all time with over 1.35 billion views. “Uptown Funk” was nominated for best record of the year and for best pop group performance. Bruno Mars grew up in Hawaii, so make these Hawaiian Coconut Shrimp appetizers that will have you saying “hallelujah, whoo!”

Nicki Minaj, Drake, & Lil Wayne, Truffle Butter:
Truffle Butter & Parmesan Popcorn

Nicki Minaj dropped a few jaws with her release “Truffle Butter”, making it one of the biggest hits of the year; and Nicki, Drake, and Lil’ Wayne were all nominated for best rap performance for this song. Nicki’s album, The Pinkprint, was also nominated for best album. While you eagerly wait for Nicki’s song to win, snack on this Truffle Butter popcorn.

Miguel, Coffee:
Coffee Meringue Kisses

If you hadn’t heard of Miguel before 2015, you definitely know his name by now. His smooth hit, “Coffee”, was nominated for best R&B song of the year. His album, Wildheart, also received the nomination for best urban contemporary album. Whip up these Coffee Meringue Kisses, inspired by the song, to get your chocolatey-coffee fix.

Maroon 5, Sugar:
Wedding Cake Pops

Who can forget the time that Maroon 5 crashed several weddings for their music video “Sugar“? Those are a few wedding crashers we wouldn’t mind joining our festivities! Maroon 5 deservedly earned their best pop group performance nomination for this song. Make these bride and groom wedding cake pops inspired by the music video and cross your fingers that Maroon 5 will crash your own Grammys viewing party.

Taylor Swift, Bad Blood:
Bad Blood Orange Margaritas

‘Cause baby, now we’ve got bad blood… orange margaritas! Taylor Swift and her squad kicked some serious butt in her “Bad Blood” music video with Kendrick Lamar, which has over 760 million views (only 2,040 were mine). Toast to our girl Tay-Tay, who was nominated seven times for “Bad Blood,” “Blank Space,” and her 1989 album. Invite your own girl squad over to join in on the fun.

The Weeknd, Can’t Feel My Face:
Lemon Absinthe Cocktail

The Weeknd was nominated for best urban contemporary album, album of the year, record of the year, and the list goes on. In honor of his hit single, we selected our strongest, most potent cocktail recipe; I might even say he “Earned It.” You’ll likely not feel your face should you drink too many of these Lemon Absinthe Cocktails, so take it easy and don’t drink these too “Often.”
