Bumblebee is one tough little Autobot. One of Optimus Prime’s most trusted lieutenants, Bumblebee is always in the middle of the action. Here are 6 of Bumblebee’s best moments from throughout the Transformers film series…

6. Piece of Crap Camaro (Transformers)

Just because he is an alien robot from another planet does not mean that Bumblebee does not have feelings. When Mikeala Banes questions why a super-advanced robot transforms into a beat up “piece of crap Camaro,” Bumblebee gets a little defensive. Dumping Mikeala and Sam Witwicky on the side of the road, Bumblebee speeds off. He returns after finding a brand-new Camaro to scan and adapt for his alt-mode, much to the pair’s amazement.

5. Skids and Mudflap Beatdown (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen)

Let’s face it: the Autobot twins Skids and Mudflap were one of the most annoying things in Revenge of the Fallen. Their childish antics and grating personalities annoyed many fans to the point where Michael Bay removed them from the sequel, Dark of the Moon. On screen though, Bumblebee got to do the one thing we all wanted to do when he bashed their heads together…

4. I’ll Drive, You Shoot! (Transformers)

Bumblebee proves you can’t keep a good Autobot down, even when your legs have been blown off. During the battle in Mission City, a wounded Bumblebee is seemingly out of the fight until Mikaela makes use of a pick-up truck to return him to battle. Between her driving skills and Bumblebee’s shooting, they help to destroy Brawl.

3. Bumblebee Hates Cheap Knock-Offs (Transformers: Age of Extinction)

When KSI introduced the human-built Transformer known as “Stinger,” they based him on Bumblebee. Worse, they said they had improved on Bumblebee’s design and called him decrepit and antique. Needless to say, Bumblebee did not take that well. Bee later proved Stinger to be a “cheap knock-off” during their fight in Shanghai.

2. Brutal Bumblebee (Transformers: Dark of the Moon)

During the Battle of Chicago, the Decepticons gain the upper hand. With several Autobots held prisoner, Soundwave begins to execute them, starting with Wheeljack. Just as it is Bumblebee’s turn, the Decepticons are attacked by Wheelie and Brains. The distraction gives Bee and the other Autobots a chance. Bumblebee delivers a brutal coup de grace to Soundwave.

1. Bumblebee the Badass (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen)

Bumblebee takes his mission as Sam Witwicky’s guardian extremely seriously. When his charge and family is cornered by the Decepticon Rampage, Bumblebee intervenes and delivers a beat-down on the unlucky Decepticon. Bee proves just how much of a badass he really is when, during the fight, Ravage joins the fight only to get ripped in two shortly after.

Make sure to check out more Bumblebee action in Transformers: The Last Knight, in theaters on June 21.
