Marvel dropped a surprisingly humorous trailer for “Thor: Ragnarok” during their Comic-Con presentation on Saturday.

The clip opens with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) recounting his story up to that point to The Hulk: he’s lost his hammer Mjolnir and been captured (seemingly by the same parties that are forcing him to fight his Avengers teammate in gladiator-style combat).

Thor is then seen talking to the Hulk’s alternate ego — Dr. Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) on the same alien world.

There’s plenty of footage of the Hela (Cate Blanchett), the Goddess of Death, as she and an army of pegasus-riding valkyries invade Asgard.

“Oh I’ve missed this,” Hela declares as she walks among the slain bodies of Asgardian warriors.

Asgard’s missing warrior in turn rallies the help of Hulk, his brother Loki, and newcomer Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) team up to battle Hela.

“We need to stop her here and now … to prevent Ragnarok, the end of everything,” Thor explains.

There’s a surprising amount of sci-fi in the trailer, with Loki and a hammer-less Thor using laser cannons as weapons, and a spaceship equipped with a gatling gun.

There’s also the requisite shirtless Thor shot. Oh and a giant wolf and flaming monster.

Check out the Thor Ragnarok trailer above for all the action — and some good old Thor-Hulk banter.

The film opens in theaters November 3, 2017.
