As you join Mario on his biggest 3D adventure yet, complete with a touch of globe-trotting, you’ll be accompanied by Mario’s hat, Cappy.
This magical fella is actually a big white top hat that transforms into Mario’s classic red flat cap, but he’s also got a tonne of powers to give Mario on this journey to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser’s shotgun wedding.
As shown in the latest Super Mario Odyssey trailer, you can use Cappy to transform into classic Super Mario enemies. Play as Goombas, as well as other critters within the Super Mario Odyssey world like a little frog who gains Mario’s moustache.
The Super Mario Odyssey trailer confirms the game’s launch date of October 27, 2017.
