We caught up with Project Manager Carlos Verlee Vazquez to discuss Steep, the upcoming open-world action sports game being developed by Ubisoft Annecy. Vazquez gives us an overview of how the game’s open world will work, and how players can transition seamlessly between four different sports while on the mountain: wingsuit, snowboarding, paragliding, and skiing. He also discusses Steep‘s social and multiplayer features, and how you can play alongside and challenge your friends. Finally, Vazquez shows us how the game lives up to its Steep moniker by explaining the game’s physics and trick systems. Steep is available Dec. 2 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
