After months of rumors and speculation, on Sept. 7 Sony was at last ready to show off both its smaller, more streamlined PlayStation 4 Slim, as well as the more powerful, 4K compatible PlayStation 4 Pro model. The PlayStation 4 Slim hits stores Sept. 15, replacing all current base model PS4s moving forward, and will cost $299. The all-new PlayStation 4 Pro, which caters to a more hardcore audience and 4K early adopters, arrives Nov. 10 and will cost $100 more. Is the $399 price tag too much for some folks to upgrade? And will it sell undecided folks on 4K televisions?
