Prepare yourself for a cuteness overload because LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is coming and it’s going to feature a teeny tiny Baby Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

TT Games and Marvel announced the brand new game on the official Facebook channel, and basically, it’s all about Baby Groot. It’s not quite a parody of the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 as he’s not dancing, but rather running terrified from some explosion behind him. There’s no doubt he’s still totally adorable.

The only other character to be confirmed for the game is Dr. Strange, who makes a cheeky appearance at the end of the trailer just before the full title appears.

This is just a teaser trailer for the game, but you should expect the full version on Tuesday, May 23, which is just over a week away. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more of the roster for the game and of course, more LEGO Baby Groot.

But this isn’t actually the first time we’ve seen a LEGO Baby Groot. There have been some Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 official sets released that include a tiny little Baby Groot. He’s not even bigger than one of those single LEGO tiles and we’ve fallen in love… again.

No doubt we’ll be seeing Yondu, Star-Lord and other Marvel characters popping up in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 when it arrives, probably later this year.

The original LEGO Marvel Super Heroes character list featured over 150 familiar faces ranging from classics like the Hulk to the more obscure. We imagine the list for this sequel will be even more impressive.

Stay tuned to FANDOM for coverage when the full LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 trailer drops next week.
