At Microsoft’s E3 2016 press conference today, they debuted a gameplay trailer for ReCore, a brand-new IP starring female protagonist Joule Adams and her “Corebot” companions. Beyond the relative rarity of a new IP in the gaming world, ReCore is notable for its development team: a collaboration between Keiji Inafune, co-creator of Mega Man, and the core creative team behind the acclaimed Metroid Prime game series.

That kernel of information was enough to pique interest when the title was revealed at last year’s E3 press conference, but news on the title has been scarce since then. No longer: the trailer reveals a futuristic third-person action-platformer, and it appears you’ll be able to swap characters depending on the situation.

Check out the trailer for yourself here:

ReCore is set to launch on Sept. 13, 2016 on Xbox One and PC.
