ICYMI, FOX’s Prison Break is coming back for a mini-series revival with the original cast. Stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell are glad to be back in their OG roles.
“We were excited about the possibility of playing these characters again,” Purcell says. “So, when Paul Scheuring, the creator/writer, came up with a great story we were on board.”
Miller and Purcell had previously reunited on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The CW comic book series on which they play Captain Cold and Heat Wave respectively. We asked ’em how they both ended up on the show.
Purcell says they pair weren’t initially sought as a package deal, but Miller made it happen. “Wentworth was doing guest recurring on The Flash. They told him they were looking to cast Heat Wave and asked if there was anyone he’d recommend. As a brother does, he looked after me. I’m thankful for that, because it led to Prison Break.”
