Ahoy matey! You can now experience the high-seas adventures of Jack Sparrow and the Pirates of Carribean movies in the palm of your hand. The brand new mobile game, Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War, is out now.

Disney and mobile game developer Joycity announced the release of the new title which is available starting today for iOS and Android devices.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War has characters, ships, and storylines based on the Pirates movie series.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War is a naval warfare MMO not unlike Joycity’s Oceans & Empires.

In the game, players become pirates in the world of Pirates of the Caribbean and can enjoy a full sea fight experience on their mobile devices. Players can plan various strategies through building, ship construction and troops training, and they can form alliances with other players.

Players can battle against each other or defeat common monsters that dwell in the sea.

And while it’s perfectly acceptable to play the game while swigging rum and wearing a pirate hat, you can’t actually play as Jack Sparrow. Sparrow and other Pirates favorites like Captain Barbossa and Will Turner appear in the game.

The best part? It won’t cost you any pirates booty to play. Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War is free.

On May 26, audiences will be treated to the newest film in the franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. In the movie, the winds of ill-fortune blow even more strongly for Captain Jack as deadly ghost sailors led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle. Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, but to find it, he must forge an uneasy alliance with a brilliant and beautiful astronomer and a headstrong young man in the British navy.
