Cosplay at New York Comic Con is some of the best in the world every year, but this year it’s giving us all the feels. Between IT clowns, walkers from The Walking Dead, all of Westeros, lightsabers, and a Stormtrooper crossed with Marie Antoinette, we’re having a tough time choosing favorites. Thankfully, love is in the air.
Undine Is the Fairy Wife We Want to Be
Undine is a water spirit fairy without a soul. Her story is a German fairy-tale novella of the same name, by Friedrich de la Motte Fouqué.
To gain a soul, Undine must marry a human, but there’s a catch. If her partner is unfaithful, he dies (sorry not sorry, dudes). You can marry the beautiful Undine but she will take your soul if you stray, which is the secret sauce to every good relationship. Really.
