Wonder Woman is going to be a big deal for the DC Extended Universe. It has got a lot to prove after the response to Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad. Can it be the first DCEU movie that audiences and critics seem to like? Should we already start theorizing what the post-credits tease is going to involve? Well, we’ve got another trailer to pick apart and help us get excited.

Feast your eyes on the latest look at the story of Diana Prince and how she will one day become the superhero we all know:

What’s Wonder Woman About?

Here is the official synopsis from Warner Bros.:

Wonder Woman hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman will be the last DC Extended Universe movie before Justice League. it would be nice to have a good movie to send us into the eventual team-up film. We still haven’t seen the villain Ares. Looks like we will have to wait for the film to get a good look at him. Until then, be happy with more Robin Wright appearances. She’s awesome.

Wonder Woman will lasso its way onto the big screen on June 2. If you have a daughter, you are probably going to want to pre-order that Halloween costume.
