Murder on the Orient Express is going to be an interesting film. Based on the classic Agatha Christie mystery, the big-screen adaptation features many big name stars. It’s that stellar cast that has us excited after an unremarkable first trailer debut (more on that below).

A second trailer just dropped showing all the famous faces boarding the Express. Give it a watch and see if the film has piqued your interest.

Murder Most Foul

This new trailer is certainly much better than the first one. Though, the marketing people at Fox seem really hooked on that Imagine Dragons song.

Agatha Christie’s novel is a masterwork of suspense and suspicion. Whether that translates to this version of the story remains to be seen. This trailer focuses on some of the bigger action beats. Hopefully, that won’t drown out the intricate detective work.

A Star-Studded Affair

Kenneth Branaugh as Detective Hercule Poirot.

But, this movie is keeping our interest thanks to its prestigious cast. Kenneth Branaugh is directing and portraying the role of Hercule Poirot, one of Agatha Christie’s most beloved characters. Branaugh’s take on the famous inspector should be one to watch.

Star Wars fans are going to be excited to see Daisy Ridley in a different kind of role. Josh Gad — fresh off his turn in the blockbuster Beauty and the Beast — is also going to be one to watch. There’s also Johnny Depp, Judi Dench, Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Michelle Pfieffer, and many others to enjoy. If anyone stands out in trailer, its Pfieffer. Between Murder on the Orient Express and her appearance in mother!, this is looking like a great year for the former Catwoman. She may be a scene-stealer, but is she the murderer?

We’ll wait and see if this all shakes out into a good film. Murder on the Orient Express will give audiences a big screen whodunit on November 3 in the U.K. and November 10 in the U.S.
