Wonder Woman is full of Princess Diana displaying her incredible powers. She’s not only a superhero – she’s a demigod! From rescuing Steve Trevor to storming a German trench in the middle of World War I, Wonder Woman proved that nothing is beyond her strength and fighting prowess. But who can forget her epic battle with Ares at the film’s climax? Wonder Woman harnessed all of her powers to fulfill her destiny and defeat the god of war.
In Spider-Man: Homecoming, our friendly neighborhood web-slinger used his strength, agility, web-shooters, and famous wit to bust up an illegal weapons deal on the Staten Island Ferry. When the Vulture showed up, Spider-Man had to deal with a bigger threat – the ferry splitting in two! Using all his web shooting skills, Spidey managed to bind the two halves together. Okay, he wasn’t one hundred percent successful, but there is no doubt that Spider-Man showed off his full range of abilities.
Eleven showed just how powerful she was in the first season – but Stranger Things 2 kicked it up big time. After spending most of the season isolated and away from her friends, Eleven returns to Hawkins in the nick of time to help them against the Mind Flayer. Focusing all her tremendous powers, Eleven manages to close the gate to the Upside Down.
This year was DC’s turn to unite their superheroes in Justice League. Individually, each member of the League is a veritable powerhouse. But the crowning moment was not any individual display of power. It was when all the members of the Justice League came together and united as a team, taking on Steppenwolf and his parademon army. Outnumbered, the Justice League became a team to combat a threat that none of them could hope to defeat alone.
Fantastic feats of the Force are a staple of the Star Wars films, and The Last Jedi was no exception. With Rey under the tutelage of Luke Skywalker, she learned to harness her burgeoning Force powers and came into her true potential. Rey’s display of raw power is enough to scare Luke. He has seen this power only once before – in Kylo Ren.
