The new trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, which dropped today, puts the heroes in a half shell front and center, reacquainting audiences with Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael.

The gang are back on the big screen this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones , played by Arrow star Stephen Amell.

The sequel tells what happens when the Turtles’ nemesis, Shredder, escapes custody, and joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry). Their unfortunate creations, as seen in the trailer, are two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly) — a couple of classic Turtles baddies coming to life for the first time in this iteration of the franchise.

Our heroes must stop the villains before they can unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. But as the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, wouldn’t you know it… They find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the evil Krang (voiced by Fred Armisen).

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows opens first in the UK and Ireland on 30 May. It hits US theaters on 3 June.
