There were Marvel Vs. Capcom 4 rumors all over the net in the last week. And now we know that they were true, though maybe not exactly what we expected. Say hello to the Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite reveal, including its first roster members.

When’s Mahvel? Now!

The trailer starts off with an appearance from the Capcom side of things. I don’t blame hopeful Capcom fans for first thinking it was a Mega Man reveal because we first see X and Ryu chase after some strange energy. But they’re interrupted by a familiar face.

Soon, Iron Man starts in on the Capcom guys but doesn’t do too well in a two-on-one brawl. He soon gets some back up from Captain Marvel. Carol Danvers has never been in a Marvel fighting game before, so it’s quite a premiere. The trailer ends with those pairs about to battle. And then, like a good Marvel reveal, we get a post-credits surprise: Ultron.

Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Reveal Ultron

After the Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite reveal came some even more unexpected news. Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, previously delisted and unavailable on last-gen consoles, is purchasable right now on the PS4 via PSN — coming to PC and Xbox One in March 2017.

Quite a nice preview to what you’ll be playing as you wait for the vague 2017 release date of Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite.
