Life is Strange: Before the Storm is set in Arcadia Bay before the events of the original Life is Stange game. In the new prequel, play as 16-year-old Chloe Price and explore her friendship with the incredibly popular Rachel Amber – the missing girl from the original game.

At this year’s E3 convention, Square Enix has released the first Life is Strange: Before the Storm gameplay trailer, which is a full 20-minutes long.

The trailer is technically three much longer scenes stitched together, with the first scene taking place in an abandoned mill on the outskirts of Arcadia Bay where Chloe has managed to gain entry to an illegal concert.

The second part takes place later when Rachel and Chloe have spent the day together in a new environment called The Outlook.

Then the third part is a return to one of the familiar locales from the original game.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm episodes 1-3 are out on August 31.
