‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ Trailer Goes Off

John Wick: Chapter 2 can’t get here any faster. The original was a surprise hit that created an instant fandom and now the sequel looks like it’s bringing the thunder. We saw the first trailer out of New York Comic-Con early this year, but this new trailer brings us even more of the stylish and dangerous world that John Wick inhabits. Check it out!

This Ain't No Electric Boogaloo

Looks like this sequel isn't resting on its laurels! John Wick: Chapter 2 is giving fans a deeper look into this fantastical hitman universe. The sequence in which we see how a contract is sent out is wonderfully retro. There's a love of classic imagery in this universe that makes it feel both fresh and nostalgic. It also looks like John will be dealing with a sea of the best assassins in the business. Too bad for them that John Wick is the undisputed master of murder.

We also get a little more of Laurence Fishburne's character, the Bowler King. Seeing Neo and Morpheus together in a movie again is the best kind of fan service. There also looks to be some other cool new characters thrown into the mix. Common's head of security and Ruby Rose's sign language assassin both look like they are going to cause some trouble for John. We also get returning characters like Lance Reddick's Charon, Ian McShane's Winston, and John Leguizamo's Aurelio.

John Wick: Chapter 2 will shoot you in the head on February 10.
