Hurry to Score Some Sweet PlayStation Store Flash Sale Deals

Not to be outdone by the Steam Summer Sale, the PlayStation Store Flash Sale is running now through Monday, June 27 at noon PDT. The sale offers up to 80% off a selection of games and movies. These aren’t your typical bargain bin rejects, either. There are several quality games and movies on sale to choose from. Here are some of our recommendations.

Batman Arkham Collection

Batman: Arkham Knight (PS4) – $11.99

Batman: Arkham City (PS3) –  $5.99

Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3) –  $4.99

Rocksteady’s Batman Arkham games are some of the best action-adventure titles in recent memory. They may actually be the best superhero video games of all time. Never before had a Batman video game given you the feeling of playing as The Dark Knight himself like these games do. Right now you can get all three Rocksteady Batman games for just under $23. That is a steal considering how many hours of gameplay are packed into each game. Hurry up and pick up the trilogy before the Joker’s on you.

Telltale Seasons

The Walking Dead – Season 2 (PS4, PS3, Vita) – $7.49

The Walking Dead: Michonne (PS4, PS3) – $5.99

Tales from the Borderlands (PS4, PS3) – $4.49

The Wolf Among Us (Vita) – $7.49

If you have ever wanted to try one of Telltale’s episodic offerings, but balked at the price of an entire season, now’s your chance. There is something for just about everyone here: Game of Thrones for fans of the show or books, Tales from the Borderlands for those who always loved the personality and quirky sense of humor of the shooter series and wanted to delve into the lore a bit more, both The Walking Dead Season 2 and the Michonne miniseries for zombie (sorry, walker) fans, and The Wolf Among Us, for those who are open to mixing in a bit of noir grit with the fairy tales from their childhood. And speaking of childhood fairy tales…

Child of Light Ultimate Edition (PS4, PS3) – $8.99

Child-of-Light

The game’s creators describe this reimagining of childhood fairytales as a “playable poem.” That is certainly the case in more ways than one; the game’s use of spoken verse, as well as its gorgeous art style, are both poetic in nature. The Ultimate Edition includes the full game plus seven add-on content packs.

Mad Max (PS4) – $15.99

Mad Max Video Game PlayStation Sale

This open-world action-adventure driving game based on the Mad Max universe had some issues that prevented it from being recommended at a full $59.99 price tag when it released. However, at $15.99 this game is hard to pass up, as fans of the movies will find plenty to love with the game’s post-apocalyptic setting and vehicular combat sequences.
