Westworld, coming soon to HBO, is billed as a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin, exploring a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged. Inspired by the 1973 Michael Crichton film, Westworld is executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jerry Weintraub, and Bryan Burk. It was created for TV by writers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy.
