‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’: A Sneak Peek

Grab a mug of Butterbeer because on July 31, we celebrate two monumental events in the wizarding world: Harry Potter‘s birthday and the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Childthe eighth book in J.K. Rowling’s beloved series.

The story is actually the script of the play currently running in London, set after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. An adult Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and Draco are back, along with their Hogwarts-bound children. The play has received early glowing reviews, and by some miracle of magic (and a #KeeptheSecrets campaign), very spoilers have been leaked. Our friends at Pottermore have given us a little tease of what’s to come by way of a quote from the Deathly Hallows epilogue, which plays a large part in Cursed Child. Check it out the below, and prepare to be cast under the spell of the Potterverse once more.
