Captain America: Civil War is going to sport the biggest roster of characters we’ve yet to see in a Marvel Cinematic Universe film. With so much focus on the impending battle between Captain America and Iron Man, we haven’t seen a whole lot on the villain side of things. We know that Daniel Brühl will playing Baron Zemo but we have yet to see a photo of him. We’ve also known that Frank Grillo will be returning as the villainous Crossbones. Today gives us our first official peek at Grillo’s new look. Check it out:

With HYDRA mostly disbanded at this point, it’ll be interesting to see where Crossbones’ allegiance lies. It’s obvious that he’s got some personal vendetta with Cap after the events in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, but someone has to be funding his new outfit and weaponry. Is it Zemo? How will he fit into this whole picture?

We’ve also learned who Martin Freeman is playing in the film: Everett Ross. Typically a U.S. liaison to Wakanda in the comics, this version of Ross will be heading up the Joint Counter Terrorist Centre, a government outfit that has stepped into the picture after the dissolution of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Captain America: Civil War is guaranteed to be a game-changing event for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but there has been one lingering question that we dread to ask: will Cap die in this film? In the original Civil War comic story, Cap is assassinated by Crossbones after surrendering to the government in order to stop the escalating war between the heroes. Will Marvel Studios take such an enormous risk with one of their most popular characters? In the comics, Bucky Barnes ended up taking on the mantle of Captain America. Is the same fate going to occur in the films? Will Avengers: Infinity War feature a Captain America that’s not portrayed by Chris Evans?

We’ll all have to wait and find out when Captain America: Civil War is unleashed upon the world on May 6th.
