Fire Emblem has gone from hardcore to one of Nintendo’s biggest franchises. On top of a couple new entries on the Nintendo Switch, there’s also a new, intriguing spin-off coming to the Nintendo 3DS. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is a throwback to a 16-bit classic, Fire Emblem Gaiden, that’s getting a fresh coat of polygonal paint. The game, alongside a couple brand new amiibo, arrive May 19, 2017.
