The final trailer for Justice League just dropped at New York Comic Con and we are feeling damn good about it.

This is our first time seeing footage that likely contains Joss Whedon’s reshoots and you can already see his influence. We also see Henry Cavill back as Superman for the first time. Sure it seems like a flashback but we have no doubt that the man of steel will join the other heroes at some point during the movie.

The big question is how will Superman be resurrected?

If Justice League wants to stick to the comic book storyline, they’d need to put Kal-El in the regeneration matrix. Superman was revived in the Reign of Superman using the machine after he’s killed by Doomsday. Sound familiar? In Batman v. SupermanLex Luthor brought Doomsday to life by using Zod‘s DNA. This would obviously make some sense.

We’ll have to wait until Justice League hits theaters on November 17, 2017.
