Not everyone enjoyed Quantic Dream’s Heavy Rain or Beyond Two Souls, but David Cage and his time has continued relentlessly pursuing innovative storytelling. Quantic Dream has built a passionate fan base over the years, largely for telling cinematic stories with branching narratives that feel authentic, regardless of which decision you make. This trend continues with their latest title, Detroit: Become Human.
Sony unveiled the latest look at Detroit as part of a stunning E3 press conference. The trailer, which you can watch below, showcases negotiator scenario where one android talks down another android. Well, talks down in one story, but maybe not in another. Maybe in your story, you shoot the android. In another player’s story, the Android jumps. In yet another, the showdown ends peacefully.
You can shape the events of Detroit: Become Human yourself when the game comes out in… well… eventually. No release date for this one, but you can whet your appetite with the full trailer below.
