English actor David Suchet, best known for his long-running lead role on Agatha Christie’s Poirot, will join Doctor Who during the show’s upcoming Series 10 for an episode entitled “The Landlord.”

The BBC have issued the below promo photo of Suchet as the titular landlord in the episode written by Brit writer Mike Bartlett (The Town, Doctor Foster).

Suchet joins actors Stephanie Hyam (Jekyll and Hyde), Ralf Little (The Royale Family), and Matt Lucas (Little Britain) as confirmed Doctor Who guest stars next series.

The 14-episode Series 10 will see the Doctor joined by a new companion, Bill, played by Pearl Mackie. It will be the last series with Steven Moffat as showrunner — he’s set to hand the reins over to award-winning writer Chris Chibnall for Series 11.

Rumors had begun swirling that Peter Capaldi might leave with Moffat’s exit, but he’s recently been confirmed to stay on another series.

Only a Christmas special will air in 2016, with the rest of Doctor Who Series 10 beginning broadcast in Spring 2017.
