Sony revealed an extended gameplay session for a new zombie survival game called Days Gone. The gameplay session featured scruffy biker Deacon St. John battling off a massive horde of zombies. The zombies included a brand of turned children known as “Newts”, a super creepy, speedy zombie that leaps on the player and temporarily disables them.

Days Gone comes from SIE Bend Studio, known for their work on the Syphon Filter titles. The game is clearly capable of rendering a massive amount of zombies as the traincar segment and World War Z style zombie wall showed. Days Gone is being billed as a survival game, but it clearly has an action bent with the sheer number of zombies mowed down.
There’s been no release date announced as of yet, but the game will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
