Dark Souls III is notoriously difficult and requires repetitive play to master. Despite boasting gorgeous graphics, there’s something very old-school about having to commit so much time and attention to beating a game.
Given that playing Dark Souls can be such a dispiriting grind to play. Soul destroying might be a better description. Please enjoy the following video where the simple addition of the song “Jump” by Van Halen appears to make everything on screen much more fun to play.
Jumping — or rather rolling or just getting out of the way of attacks in general– in Dark Souls also seems like a pretty good strategy.
