With the countdown until the new seasons of the Arrowverse shows drawing closer, The CW has released a five-minute promo short called Superhero Fight Club 2.0. The short serves as a sequel to the original Superhero Fight Club, which came out in April last year. Check out the new one below.

The new Fight Club pits the heroes of Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl (which has joined The CW from season two), against challenges created by Felicity Smoak and Cisco Ramon. Martian Manhunter arrives looking for the tech team to place bets on who will win, but when he reveals his true identity, Diggle’s reaction is exactly what you’d expect.

Right at the end, after the heroes have defeated the tech challenges, Grodd appears as the next foe to defeat. The giant lab ape is a new villain who was confirmed to be appearing on season three of The Flash. There will be a two-part episode featuring Gorilla City and the return of Grodd sometime throughout the next season.

If anything, this new Fight Club gives fans a taste of the four-way crossover event between Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow set for December. This will take place in episode eight of The Flash and Arrow, episode seven of Legends of Tomorrow and an as-yet determined episode of Supergirl. The CW recently revealed that the Dominators would be the villains for the crossover.
