Legends of Tomorrow loves to pay homage to classic films. Their George Lucas episode paid tribute to Indiana Jones, their baby alien episode paid homage to E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, and their spring premiere is going to pay tribute to The Exorcist.

That’s right, when the show returns on February 12, during its new Monday night time slot, John Constantine will join the Waverider to help the Legends with an exorcism. Matt Ryan, who played Constantine previously on NBC will be reprising his role. Let’s check out the new trailer below:

Pirates & Exorcisms, Oh My!

When Legends of Tomorrow returns, the crew will begin to pursue the supernatural force called Mallus. Sara Lance encountered Mallus in the space between worlds in the winter finale, “Beebo the God of War”. Mallus has been giving power to Damien Darhk and his daughter all season, which has given them the upper hand against the Legends.

In the Spring premiere, “Daddy Darhkest,” the Legends will need Constantine’s help with an exorcism. The last time anyone from the Arrowverse saw Constantine was during the Arrow episode “Haunted.” He helped Laurel and Oliver get Sara’s soul back from the Lazarus Pit.

It looks like the show will definitely be crossing into horror film territory with this episode, considering the trailer features crucifixes, levitations and a possessed girl. With Constantine’s arrival, it’s possible his strength in the supernatural arts will also help the Legends find Mallus and defeat Damien Darhk.

The trailer also featured a quick look at some of the other episodes in the season, specifically a pirate themed episode. In the trailer, you can see Ray Palmer and Nate Heywood all decked out in pirate regalia, including some fine pirate wigs. Wherever else the Legends go this season, they are sure to bring their zany sense of humor and their sense of team loyalty with them.

Oh, and while not present in the trailer, the Legends are getting a new crew member this season: Wally West!

Legends of Tomorrow airs on a new night and time, Mondays at 8PM on The CW, starting February 12.
