San Diego Comic-Con just keeps getting bigger and bigger, bringing together fans of all types into one massive convention center.  Once more hundreds of thousands of people are heading to Southern California to celebrate the nerdy things they obsess over, and that’s exactly why we love it. But beyond the panels and the trailers and the news, there’s all the stuff you can buy! Countless retailers will be there, many of them bringing Comic-Con exclusives i.e. special geeky goods that you can only get at San Diego Comic-Con, and that includes video games.

As 2016’s Comic-Con International approaches, Fandom is going to be highlighting some of the best exclusives SDCC retailers have to offer. We’ve already talked about the best exclusive toys at Comic-Con, so let’s move on to the best stuff based on video games.

NECA’s Radical TMNT Variants

SDCC 2016 Exclusive Video Games

NECA always brings its A-game to San Diego, somehow finding new ways to make some of the coolest (and most creative) exclusives for each new Comic-Con. This year NECA brings great stuff from Aliens, Predator, Marvel, and more, but nothing can match this exclusive for lovers of retro games and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. These glorious repaints of NECA’s TMNT line reimagines them as the stars of Konami’s iconic TMNT Arcade game. The matching set of Shredder and the Foot Clan makes this a must-buy for anyone who remembers when arcades were truly bodacious.

Everything Blizzard Brings

SDCC VIdeo Game Exclusives

Compared to all the other game developers and publishers coming to Comic-Con, Blizzard is usually the best when it comes to video game exclusives in San Diego. In 2016, Blizzard’s booth will feature exclusive merch from Starcraft, Diablo, and Overwatch, but the best item has to be a special edition Pop figure of World of Warcraft‘s Spectral Murloc. You just want him to live on your shelf forever.

Mondo’s Mega Man Pins

Video Game Exclusives SDCC 2016

Mondo is known for lovely prints and glassware that covers so many different fandoms, as seen in most of the exclusives they’re bringing to San Diego. When it comes to Mondo’s Comic-Con exclusives for video games, it doesn’t get much better than these snazzy Mega Man pins. The Blue Bomber looks just like he did on the NES in these enamel pins you’ll only find at Mondo’s booth.

Bluefin’s Mega Man Helmet and Figure

Even if Mega Man isn’t playable anywhere, he’s leading the way with Comic-Con video game exclusives with another entry on this list. Bluefin is a rising star among collectible makers in Japan, and the toymaker is bringing so many cool exclusives to Comic-Con, including some obscenely detailed Gundam and Godzilla figures. But as long as we’re talking Mega Man, video game fans will want to seek out Bluefin’s exclusive Mega Man helmet, as well as a special figurine, and a fancy reskin of their great Mega Man X toy.

Toynami’s Golden Sonic Hello Kitty

There’s also a softer side to Comic-Con video game exclusives, something Toynami knows too well. The toy manufacturer brings special geeky plushies to SDCC each year, and the best of its 2016 crop is Hello Kitty cosplaying as Sonic the Hedgehog. And not just any version of Sonic, as Kitty dons the golden color Sonic wears when he’s holding all the Chaos Emeralds. Having this plush character in your home is sure to confuse your friends.
