San Diego Comic-Con 2018 kicks off this week. With a massive gap in television and theatrical billing — Game of Thrones and Marvel Studios are not making an appearance — video games publishers have filled the fan void with a diverse slate covering everything from indie games to AAA titles (see the complete schedule here). We break down the five biggest video gaming panels at the annual convention.

Call of Duty

Call of Duty Zombies

Thursday July 19, 2018 1:00pm – 2:00pm, Room BCF

A premier title year-in and year-out, Call of Duty shook things up in 2018 by introducing a Battle Royale mode popularized by other titles like Fortnite and Players Unknown Battlegrounds. Without a campaign, Call of Duty Zombies is the closest thing players have to a story-based narrative in this Call of Duty installment. With E3 dominated by the multiplayer modes, Call of Duty: Zombies shines on its own with an entire Comic-Con panel. The hype is real, there will be surprises and the Call of Duty: Zombies mode we all know and love is here and ready to shine.

Bandai Namco

Jump Force Bandai Namco

Friday July 20, 2018 10:00am – 11:00am, Room 25ABC

With Bandi Namco hosting an entire panel about their new fighting game, that could only mean one thing … Jump Force. The panel has yet to have a real title, but it’s safe to say that more reveals, more updates, and more information will come out of it. We, for one, couldn’t be more excited about what exactly news wiill drop. There are so many possible roads Bandai Namco can go down, so many questions they can answer, and frankly, we are all here for it.

Resident Evil

Friday July 20, 2018 12:45pm – 1:45pm, Room 6BCF

Leon is back in a full on Resident Evil 2 remake that is right around the corner: January 25, 2019. Resident Evil 2 will be playable at Gamescom in August, but with that being said, it is only right that we find out more about how the remake of everyone’s favorite zombie-horror game will play, look, and feel. We know the guns, Leon and crew, the scares, and most importantly the zombies will all be there; but there are questions left unanswered, this panel will aim to bring the excitement to both new and old fans of the franchise.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Saturday July 21, 2018 12:30pm – 1:30pm, Room 5AB

Lara Croft is BACK, both at Comic-Con and with her new title Shadow of the Tomb Raider. With a full panel devoted to the new game arriving in September. Square Enix and developers, Crystal Dynamics, aim to deep dive into this new game in the franchise. We can expect a ton of new content, announcements, and more of the combat mechanics at the panel. Be there to get that first-hand experience on Lara Croft’s new adventure.

Marvel Games

Marvel's Spider-Man Mister Negative

Thursday July 19, 2018 1:00pm – 2:00pm, Hall H

Marvel Studios isn’t making their annual Comic-Con appearance this year, but their subdivision Marvel Games will be there in full force. Marvel Games plays host to Sony Interactive Entertainment, Insomniac Games, Oculus Studios, and many more for an amazing panel highlighting Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel Powers United VRMARVEL Strike Force, and many more titles. With a superhero-sized panel, this is a panel to fill that void as we wait for Captain Marvel.

Which panel are you most excited about?
