More Cast Photos from ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’

Yesterday Pottermore gave us some great promotional photos of the Potter family 19 years on teasing the debut of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and today they’ve granted us a glimpse of the Granger-Weasleys in all their charming, wizardly glory.

This includes our first glimpse of Cherrelle Skeete as Rose Granger-Weasley, daughter of Hermione and Ron. J.K. Rowling describes the young witch as “like her mother, but more secure” since she was born into the wizarding world to start, “Cherrelle plays her perfectly: bossy but deeply lovable.”

Cherrelle Skeete plays the "bossy but deeply lovable" Rose Granger-Weasley. Sounds wonderfully familiar.

Noma Dumezweni strikes an impressive, professorial pose as Hermione Granger.

With Voldemort out of the picture, it is intriguing to consider what the impetus for these stories will be. The Wizarding World of J.K. Rowling is filled with remarkable lore, and it will only be the richer for this production. Whatever the adventure that awaits our heroes in this latest story, we are about to see a new generation of young performers catapulted to stardom on the world stage. Preview performances start in 6 days, so if you’re a spoiler-phobe, be wary that you may see information about the story hitting the internet sooner than you think! Mischief managed.

Photos of the Potters and Malfoys also surfaced this week.
