We still have to wait until May 4, 2018 to see the whole movie but we finally got our first extended look at Avengers: Infinity War.
Infinity War footage was dropped during the D23 panel though the clips were never shown to the public leaving fans with an aching in their hearts. But the hole in our hearts has finally been filled after the first full-length trailer was aired during Wednesday morning’s edition of Good Morning America.
Avengers: Infinity War and its yet untitled sequel, Avengers 4, will be Marvel’s most ambitious films yet. Classic characters like Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hulk and Hawkeye will be joined by the Guardians, Ant-Man, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther and more, as they try and stop Thanos from destroying the universe with the coveted Infinity Stones.
The official description for Avengers: Infinity War is as follows:
“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.”
