SPOILER ALERT: Warning, this article contains spoilers from ‘Avengers: Infinity War.’ Proceed at your own risk.

With Avengers: Infinity War now in cinemas, and ending on something of a cliffhanger, talk is inevitably turning to its forthcoming sequel. Which currently goes by the moniker Untitled Avengers Movie. Directors Joe Russo and Anthony Russo delayed naming the film because their title is something of a spoiler. So with that in mind, we’ve come up with a few suggestions. Some of which we’re even being serious about.

But first, a spoilery video to both set the scene, and remind you which Avengers we (maybe) just lost…

Avengers: War to End All Wars

We’ve had Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, so why not continue the theme by concluding this particular storyline with War to End All Wars. A phrase that was used to describe WWI, and which sadly proved to be inaccurate.

Avengers Reassemble

Earth’s mightiest heroes assembled in their first team-up movie, and disassembled in Infinity War. So let’s watch them Reassemble to take down Thanos in Part 4. Fun Fact: Due to rights issues, The Avengers is called Marvel’s Avengers Assemble in the UK.

Avengers: All Bets Are Off

There was huge speculation in the run-up to Infinity War regarding who would die. So-much-so that we ran a piece entitled Place Your Bets on Who Will Die in Avengers Infinity War. With 50% of EVERYONE croaking in the actual flick, pretty much anything can happen in Part 4. Meaning ALL bets are now very much off.

Avengers: Dark Reign of Thanos

Thanos spent Infinity War collecting Infinity Stones to power his Infinity Gauntlet. It was only at the end of the film that he filled each slot, enabling the big bad to bring balance to the galaxy. We see him smile at the very end of the movie, suggesting contentment. But being a “Mad Titan,” we reckon the Dark Reign of Thanos has only just begun.

Avengers: Paging Captain Marvel

Marvel boss Kevin Feige has previously said that Captain Marvel “is as powerful a character as we’ve ever put in a movie.” The Infinity War post-credit sting suggests she has an important role to play in defeating Thanos. And with Carol Danvers clearly contactable via this very ’90s means of communication, we reckon Paging Captain Marvel is the perfect title. If the sequel is a light-hearted rom-com, that is.

Avengers: Quantum Realm

We’ve lost half the Avengers. And indeed half of all life in the galaxy. But are they dead, or have they gone somewhere else? Maybe they’ve entered the Quantum Realm, the same place Janet van Dyne was transported to while disabling a nuclear missile in the MCU. If that’s the case, Scott Lang could be the key to retrieving his missing team-mates. Which would make sense as the next film in the franchise just happens to be Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Avengers: Death March

We want to see everyone who Thanos disappeared return for revenge. You want to see everyone who Thanos disappeared return for revenge. So let’s make Avengers 4 a Death March that features our heroes trooping back from the grave to send the Mad Titan to his.

Dude, Where’s My Avenger?

If Avengers 4 is a stoner comedy about the surviving Avengers searching for the dead Avengers while high — and don’t forget the Russos cut their teeth on Community — then this title is a no-brainer.

Avengers: Sins of the Father

Children of Thanos Ebony Maw, Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight and Cull Obsidian were all killed during Infinity War. As was former Child of Thanos Gamora. But Nebula is still very much alive; stranded on Titan with Iron Man. We’ve previously claimed that she will be the one to kill Thanos, meaning Part 4 could revolve around Nebula atoning for the sins of her father, and avenging those he’s killed by finally putting her father to the sword.

Avengers: Blast From the Past

No one really believes all those Avengers are dead. So the question becomes how do they return in the next instalment? And the answer might feature in Infinity War. Because Thanos uses the Time Stone to bring Vision back to life. So if the Avengers retrieve the Infinity Gauntlet, they can then perform the same trick on their fallen. Making time key to the sequel, and potentially turning Avengers 4 into a time travel movie.

Avengers: End Game

As two members of the FANDOM Team suggested this title — thanks Clarke Wolfe and Kim Taylor-Foster — we feel like it has serious potential. Particularly as the Russos told us that the story they are currently telling has a very definite end, stating “For us, I think it’s valuable that this 10-year experiment comes to a close. Prior to a new experiment beginning with new characters. So there will be some endings, and new beginnings out of this. But this is the final chapter of this book.” Making End Game a very worthy title.

Avengers: The Stones on That Bloke!

Because, you know, Thanos now has MASSIVE stones.

Finally, if you want to know what the title of Avengers 4 definitely won’t be, check out the below video…
