‘Assassin’s Creed: Origins’ Makes Ancient Egypt Fresh With Limited Edition Yeezy

When you picture ancient Egypt, what do you imagine? In our minds, its all sweeping sands and benevolent gods, but apparently at Ubisoft HQ, the setting conjures up visions of some totally fresh new footwear.

You can probably see where this is going…

Yes, in order to commemorate the release of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Origins, the French publisher has opted to throw history out of the window and put the sneak back into sneaker. Collaborating with renowned sneaker artist Dominic Lowman, the two titans have created 16 pairs of limited edition Assassin’s Creed Yeezy trainers.

While they’re pretty cool shoes, in our humble opinion, they’re definitely no Nike Janowskis. Still, if there’s ever going to be footwear that’s going to raise your parkour game, it’s got to be these babies.

Unfortunately for you budding Assassins, however, these eye-brow raising creps aren’t actually for sale. In order to get your hands on them, you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled and play close attention to Ubisoft’s social media channels.

If you do manage to win a pair though, we’d probably recommend not attempting to scale any pyramids…just in case.
