Annabelle: Creation director David F. Sandberg talks about bringing classic horror style to the upcoming sequel: “I wanted it to have more of a classic horror film feel,” he says. “One of my biggest inspirations is the original The Haunting. The cinematography [is great] — they used early CinemaScope. And the best horror score of all time is The Shining. That was the inspiration for Ben Wallfish, who did the music.”
