The Arrowverse is filled with chilling villains, from a man who can clone infinite duplicates of himself to a twisted half man, half shark. However, there are some villains who really leave their mark, like these 14 most fearsome Arrowverse villains.

Damien Darhk

Damien Darhk chilled fans with his exploits throughout Season 4 of Arrow, and the second season of Legends of Tomorrow. An immortal, dark-magic-wielding former member of the League of Assassins, Damien’s name is forever branded in the hearts and minds of fans who remember this overpowered villain as Laurel Lance’s murderer and the man who tried to nuke the world.

Savitar

With his identity withheld until the very last moment, Savitar’s mystique kept fans on the edge of our seats almost as much as his astonishing speed. By comparison, Savitar is so fast that the Flash looks like he is standing still. To this day, the scene where Savitar murders Iris still haunts fans everywhere.

Ra’s Al Ghul

Any villain who not only bests Oliver Queen in combat but stabs him to the point of near death is a villain not to be messed with. Oh, and he also nearly took out Thea Queen too. Now that is unforgivable.

Non

We will always remember Non as the one who mind-controlled an entire city, including Superman, and pitted Alex, adorned with every form of Kryptonite weaponry, against Supergirl. And you know anytime Supergirl has to fight a Kryptonian, that is going to be one epic fight.

Zoom

Zoom established himself as a speedster demon when he caught that lightning throw. Admit it, you can still hear Barry’s back crack at the hands of Hunter Zolomon.

Vandal Savage

An immortal with the experience of a thousand years, Vandal Savage established himself as a force to reckon with when he took a couple arrows in the chest, fell off a skyscraper, and walked away. Most fans will never forgive him for killing off Hawkman either.

Queen Rhea

When Queen Rhea felt an inkling of betrayal from her husband, she didn’t hesitate in cutting him down. We think that fact speaks for just how twisted her sense of morality is, and how cold-hearted she truly is.

Malcolm Merlyn

Malcolm Merlyn has been a recurrent annoyance for fans since the first season of Arrow and even took on the heroes of the Legends team in Season 2. Completely aware of his blatant moral mistakes, he somehow still finds justification for crossing those lines.

Reverse Flash

A twisted villain who fans will never forgive for completely ruining Barry’s life, Eobard Thawne was a villain who came paired with an intriguing backstory, a chilling intellect that Team Flash could never seem to outwit, and powers, that even weakened, still left a trail of mayhem in Central City.

Dominators

Enough said. Anything that looks like this and can mind control you is going to be giving us nightmares for a while.

Black Flash

A speedster demon that actually looks like a demon, Black Flash is particular fearsome because there is nowhere to hide from him. Even going so far as to travel through time, he will still find you, no matter where you are.

Bizarro Supergirl

From the moment those pure black eyes shot open, fans knew they’d never be able to look at Supergirl quite the same way. Paired with her fire breath and freeze vision, it’s hard to get Bizarro Supergirl‘s final scene out of our heads. Even though she was a fierce villain, these same qualities also make her a fan favorite.

Time Wraiths

The Speedforce’s enforcers, Time Wraiths are just as frightening as the Black Flash, except Time Wraiths come in groups. Anything that Eobard Thawne is terrified of is something to be avoided at all costs. With almost non-existent vulnerabilities, good luck trying to take on one of these and survive; Hunter Zolomon certainly couldn’t.

Slade Wilson

Mom-killers are the worst type of villains, and Deathstroke will go down as one of Oliver Queen and Team Arrow’s greatest threats, courtesy of his Mirakuru-enhanced battle skills. Coming back from certain death to wreak vengeance on Oliver for his transgressions, Slade Wilson certainly made Oliver pay for his wrongdoings when he took Moira Queen‘s life.

The Arrowverse shows return to The CW next week, with Supergirl Season 3 on October 9, The Flash Season 4 and Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 on October 10, and Arrow Season 6 on October 12.
